Update 11 Feb 06 - This image has been entered in Brookston's Photo Hunt
This was taken the day after Thanksgiving, 2005. The wind was bitter cold coming in off Lake Michigan, and everything was frozen solid. Any grain of sand became a part of a sand blaster, sculpting the sand.
So Mom needed a picture of the beach, for some reason. Never did figure it out, really. So, she, my sister and I jet out to Holland, and with everybody with their cameras, we all got some good pictures. this is one of my favorites from this set. Just a simple leaf stuck in the sand. It probably didn't last there more than a day or two after, but just then, just where I looked down..
