I love going out to the beach on windy days to see the waves. The immense power that drives the water into the beach and breakwaters is awesome.
So, today I headed out for a while. When I got there, it was snowing horizontally - just a mite windy. If anything, over the hour I was there, the wind and waves increased. I got a little too close to the lee side of the breakwater and got sprayed several times by waves breaking on the opposite side; one time, I got completely soaked. With the cold wind, any spray droplets immediately turned to ice.
